Our Winemaking Philosophy
We carefully harvest grapes from selected vineyards located in Marlborough's Wairau, Seventeen, and Waihopai Valleys. The shallow, rocky soils and varying micro-climates of these vineyards deliver a range of unique characteristics to the fruit, allowing us to create wines that showcase the best of our growing region.
After harvesting, we keep the fruit cool to best preserve its bright, flavourful nuances. We follow with gentle pressing and cold fermentations in 100% stainless steel tanks. Only carefully selected yeast strains are used to emphasize classic Marlborough characteristics.
Our Wine
Sauvignon Blanc
Our Sauvignon Blanc brings forth intense fruit and distinctive varietal characters for which Marlborough is renowned. Tropical fruit and citrus flavours lead to a long and refreshing finish.
Pinot Gris
Our Pinot Gris brings forth intense fruit and distinctive varietal characters for which Marlborough is renowned. Pear, apple and jasmine flavours lead to a crisp, off-dry, mineral finish.
Riesling
Exuberant and aromatic, our Riesling boasts luscious fruit and floral characters. Nuances of orange blossom lead to flavours of ripe peaches and citrus and a lingering finish.
Chardonnay
Our Chardonnay brings forth intense fruit and distinctive varietal characters for which Marlborough is renowned. Crisp apricot, citrus and lemon curd flavours are balanced with a fresh acidity.
Pinot Noir
Our Pinot Noir brings forth intense fruit and distinctive varietal characters for which Marlborough is renowned. Ripe plums and dark berries are accented by spicy oak and subtle tannins.
